Central Pharmaceutical Factory No I – PHARBACO is the first factory to be established and today is one of the biggest pharmaceutical factories in Vietnam’s Pharmaceutical Industry.
There are more than 100 kinds of products manufactured by PHARBACO ranging from antibiotics, vitamins, cardiovascular, antimalarial, anti-tuber-culosis… with various forms such as capsules, tables, coated tables, suspension, powder for injection… Annual volume of PHARBACO reaches more than 2 billions tables, capsules; 50 millions inject-able ampoules and tens of millions of vials of powder for injection.
PHARBACO’s products are manufactured on modern production lines with high technology conforming to GMP standard.
PHARBACO has a team of staffs with more than 100 pharmacists and post graduate pharmacists, bachelors and masters, 100 assistant pharmacists and over 300 skilled workers. Basing on this strong foundation, PHARBACO is increasingly investing in researchers and market development.
PHARBACO’s product not only are holding firm position in the domestic market but are exported to many countries in Europe, Asia and other regions.
With the approval of Vietnam’s Prime Minister, PHARBACO has been building a new GMP-WHO pharmaceutical factory in Soc Son, Hanoi with the total investment capital of more than 20 millions USD from the year 2002 to 2005.
