The predecessor of the Group is the arms factory of Jiaodong Military Area, which specialized in machine tool accessories in 1953, and was Renamed as Yantai Machine Tool Accessory Factory in 1956, and was reformed as Yantai Universal Machine Tool Accessory Group Co., Ltd. in 1996. In 2003, the Group completed its reform of property right, and was altered into the holding private enterprise. Now the Group has two factory areas with the taking area of 135,000 sq.m and the building area of 48,000 sq.m, total assets of 180 million yuan, more than 1200 employees (including more than 100 engineering technicians). It has five branches, two subsidiaries and seven general management departments.
